Puerto Rico: Old San Juan

Old San Juan is the historic walled heart of Puerto Rico's capital. The Spanish settled the city on this islet in 1521, which makes it one of the oldest European-founded cities under the US flag. Its 16th-century fortress Castillo San Felipe del Morro still guards the entrance to San Juan Bay. Together with the governor's mansion, La Fortaleza, the forts were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.

Bookable experiences

Prices may change, so check the dates before you book. Puerto Rico is a US territory, so US citizens flying from the mainland don't need a passport (a REAL ID-compliant ID works, just like on a domestic flight), and the currency is the US dollar.
