Chamonix: Le Brévent and Mont Blanc

Le Brévent sits across the valley from Mont Blanc, so the summit at about 2,525 m gives you the whole massif head-on. From Chamonix you take a gondola to Planpraz (about 2,000 m), then the cable car to the top. Go early, since clouds often build over the peaks later in the day.
